The park covers 71,920 Hectares (278 square miles) and is approximately 160 km (100 miles) north east of Ho Chi Minh City, the journey typically takes 3-4 hours. Cat Tien is one of Vietnam's most important and largest National Parks: it includes evergreen, mixed and deciduous forest with bamboo, grasslands and wetlands.
